Sindhri is invariably the most famous variety that is grown in Sindh province of Pakistan. Sindhri from Mirpur Khas has unbelievable flavor, aroma and texture. The rich alluvial soil of the Sindh river and the hot climate of Sindh produce a flavor that is unlike any other flavor.

• Extremely sensitive and fibreless when ripe, the flesh turns yellowish before exhibiting a rich yellowish-orangish color. In sweetness, it is not the sweetest mango, but due to its rich flavor, in addition to its raw consumption, it is used heavily in preparations that exude a rich mango flavor.
• In addition to the Mirpur Khas region, Sindhri is also grown in the Rahim Yar Khan and the Multan regions of Pakistan. As we go away from the sea, the Sindhri becomes sweeter at the expense of flavor.
• Sindhri can grow very big in size during peak season-although smaller sized Sindhri mangoes are equally flavorful.
